The Board of Directors at their meeting held on October 21, 2024, resolved that the 40th Annual General Meeting of Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited will be held on December 9, 2024. The Board of Directors recommended a Final Dividend of $8.50 per share for the year ended 30th September 2024, subject to stockholders approval.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Directors of Guyana Stockfeeds Inc. (GSI) on the 4th day of October, 2024 as follows:
THAT the Clause 28 of the Articles of Association of the Company be amended by the deletion of the existing Clause and insertion in its place of the following:
A) 28. Subject to restrictions of these Articles, any member may transfer all of any of his shares only in tranches of 5,000 shares or greater thereof, provided that if any shareholder who holds less than 5,000 shares is desirous of transferring shares held by him, he may transfer not less than the total held by him.
B) THAT every transfer must be in writing, and in the usual common form or in such other form a the Directors may approve, and must be left at the office of the Company, accompanied by the certificate of the shares to be transferred, and as such other evidence (if any) as the Directors may require to prove the title of the intending transferor.
The Directors of Demerara Tobacco Company Ltd. approved the payment of a Second Interim Dividend of $28.39 per share to be paid on August 26, 2024. The share register will be closed for the period August 20 – August 23 2024, both days inclusive, to facilitate the payment of the Interim Dividend.
The Directors of Guyana Bank for Trade & Industry Ltd. met on Monday, July 15, 2024 and agreed to recommend the payment of an Interim Dividend of $14.00 per share for 2024.
